BACK-TO-BACK CHART

Back-to-back bar chart comparing City Council and public support for tobacco retail policies.

WHY USE A BACK-TO-BACK CHART?

Back-to-back charts, also known as pyramid charts, are useful to compare two related datasets (e.g., two jurisdictions, sources of information, time periods) to highlight similarities or differences. The mirrored bars make it easy to see how two different groups stack up and quickly compare them at a glance.
