WHY USE A DONUT CHART?
Similar to a pie chart, donut charts are one way to visually highlight key numbers or percentages. They are best used to compare just 2-4 categories relative to each other. Beyond that, the eye has difficulty determining differences in width when the slices get too small or numerous.
