WHY USE A SLOPEGRAPH?
Slopegraphs are an easy to create format for comparing multiple variables across two categories (e.g., types of products or locations in parks across two points in time, jurisdictions, or even two different information sources like policymakers vs. constituents). Ascending or descending trend lines between the two poles or positions allow viewers to quickly get a sense of how much change has occurred.
